Hello all once again!!,

Sincere apologies for my long abscence, but for some unknown reason and days of trying to correct it all, my previous password for the forums was not recognised, even though it was correctly given, so, I am back with a new password and email account. Incidently, in case you are wondering, I am Rob, from Germany, who on quite regular occassions has written topics here. Sadly, I suppose I now dont have 46 posts to my credit, so will have to start all over again!

I hope that regulars who visit the forums are well and enjoying the beginning of Summer, although here, it seems that it doesnt know when to start and when we do get something of a Summer, it quickly ends with violent storms!

Thanks to all of you who have contacted me regarding some of my topics, great to hear from old Exmouthians and teenhood friends or aquaintances.

To my utter surprise, I saw that my topic regarding schooldays (Exmouth Secondary Modern School for Boys) has been placed on Google. Dear me, 'tis the thought of becomming so famous' thats boggling the thoughts of what to write next, that not only interesting but of something just worth writing about!.

I am wondering though, if anyone who was at our old school, between 1958 and 1962, still has the old school photos, one taken each year and were placed in the corridoor, opposite the cloakroom in the schools first entrance when comming from the school drive. I would dearly love to have a copy of each of those yearly photos and devulge in trying to remember the schoolboys I once knew. I suppose when one gets older, things of the past tend to come more to mind than those of the present. Anyone who can or could help me in that request, please contact me through my normal Email address: wappenkanzlei@web.de. I would be overwhelmed to receive them and to be able to show my family here what we looked like back then!!.

Alex and Christian have now got girlfriends (and about time too) so I dont get to see Christian much sadly to say, as I miss our Biker Tours when the weather is sunny. Alex is momentarily living with me until he gets his own accomodation, but hes in and out like a breeze in a sieve, so Im mostly on my own. I just hope I dont start talking to Hermann, my old stuffed field hamster, if that happens, I wont be here much, thats for sure!!.

Will be in touch again soon, enjoy life to the full if and when you can, greetings from us all here, Im off to make a cuppa!.

Regards,

Rob.
