I notice that the council staff are pulling the stops out around the town and seafront area - 3 road sweeper type vehicles burning up the seafront yesterday and a bit of weeding going on today. It must be time for the Britain in Bloom judges again!
Oh why can't it be Britain in Bloom judging every week then the town would look nice and clean all year round and not for just the one week.
I thought the council staff were supposed to be out on strike then.
Judging over - the weeds will be allowed to grow back and the empty cans, bottles and f a g ends will be left in the seafront weather shelters till next year.
