BEER QUARRY CAVES. Conducted tours by trained guides give the visitor an hour-long tour of this vast man-made complex of underground caverns created by centuries of quarrying the famous Beer Stone. Open daily. Monday, April 6 to end September, 10am. Last tour 5pm. October daily 11am. Last tour 4pm. Tour times may vary. Out-of-season tours by prior arrangement. Adults £6; Senior Citizens and children six-16 years £4.25; Family (2 adults+2 children) £18; Children under six yrs free.

May 24 PECO ANNUAL VINTAGE/CLASSIC VEHICLE RALLY. Pecorama. Annual Spring Rally with a wide-ranging display of vehicles from the last century.

June 7 Thomas II’s Day. Pecorama’s locomotive Thomas II is 30 years old this year and to celebrate the event, other Thomas II class engines are invited for the day to run on the Beer Heights Light Railway

June 14 PECORAMA. Miniature traction engines in steam. Rides for children and adults

June 21 PECORAMA, Beer. Fathers’ Day Free Entry

June 28 PECORAMA. Great West Classic Car Run to Pecorama in conjunction with the Devon Jaguar Enthusiasts Club

July 12 - 15 PECORAMA. Teddy Mac Days with colouring competitions, quizzes, story reading, book signing by Margaret Edmonds, author of the Teddy Mac series of children’s books based on the adventures of a Teddy Bear on the Beer Heights Light Railway.

July 13 - 17 PECORAMA. Playgroups’ Week. Featuring children’s entertainment daily at noon, all the PECO loco’s in action plus unlimited rides on the railway for Bargain Ticket holders.

July 16/17 PECORAMA. Thomas Story Days and book signing by current author Christopher Awdry.

July 19 PECORAMA. Open Garden Day for Charity. Free entry to the Gardens and Peco Model Railway Exhibition. Pay only for rides on the railway.

July 27 ANNUAL AIR AND CLASSIC CAR SHOW. Branscombe Air Field. Vintage planes on display and flying, vintage car rally, shows, stalls and much more.

July 29 - August 26 KIT CONSTRUCTION DAYS (Tuesdays only). Personal tuition in kit building from expert modeller Maggie Gravett. Nominal charge payable for kits.

August 8 -14 BEER REGATTA Week.

August 30/31 PECORAMA. Bank Holiday Weekend Special Events. Including miniature traction engine rides. Visiting locos on the railway, guest model railway layouts on display in the Lecture Theatre and entertainment in our Garden Theatre.

Sept 28 - Oct 24 PECORAMA. Free entry to the gardens plus special autumn dishes in the Garden Room Restaurant.

Oct 9-11 BEER RHYTHM & BLUES FESTIVAL. Performances by local bands in various venues.

Oct 26 - 31 PECORAMA. Autumn Half term week. Ride the Beer Heights Frights Ghost Train for Hallowe’en.
