SEATON TRAMWAY, Seaton. Seaton Tramway operates narrow gauge heritage trams between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon’s glorious Axe Valley, travelling alongside the River Axe estuary through two nature reserves and giving an unrivalled view of the abundant wading bird life. The coastal resort of Seaton is now a gateway town to the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, whilst the historic town of Colyton is described as “Devon’s Most Rebellious Town” for its part in the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685. May 9 Wiscombe Park Hill Climb - 500 Owners Association. Racing cars, motorcycles and sidecars. The 500 Owners Association host a meeting packed with motorcycle powered machinery. Ancient and modern. Cars and motorcycles. Not forgetting the spectacular sidecars. They will be joined by a selection of racing and sports racing cars. The best of motor racing nostalgia and competition with the relaxed spirit of sportsmanship.
May 10 Wiscombe Park Hill Climb - Vintage Sports Car Club.The sight, sound and smell of vintage racing cars gracing the Devon parkland takes one back to a past era but that does not mean the competition is any less important.
May 17 Wiscombe Park Hill Climb - Wildlife Autosport Renowned for their events at Cricket St Thomas, Wildlife Autosport (Burnham-on-Sea MC and Taunton Motoring Club) have now established this meeting as a fine example of championship hillclimbing.
