A BURST of sunshine boosted entries at Axminster Carnival, with around 60 contenders taking to the road.
Street collections alone raised £1,700 and organisers were still counting as the Herald went to press.
Sidvale CC took top honours – the fourth consecutive ‘best overall’ gong for the all-singing, all-dancing Mickey’s Express.
