Colyton Carnival-goers enjoyed belated summer weather as the celebrations got under way on Saturday, September 13. More than 40 entries toured the route, as the crowds gathered around the parish. Carnival organisers expect this year’s collection to surpass last year’s, when carnival week raised a whopping £13,000. Sidvale CC again stole the show, taking home the Best Overall award for their colourful and cheerful Mickey’s Express.
