THOUSANDS turned out for this year’s Honiton Show, which was blessed with sunny weather for most of the day.
Rain held off for most of the day-long event on Thursday, August 7. But the tug-of-war finale was even more of a slippery event than usual, as the clouds opened once again.
Visitors were treated to 400 exhibitions, a range of stalls and livestock displays. The West of England Hound Show featured as one of main attractions, drawing in the crowds, and the Salamanca Band and Bugles of the Rifles performed at the closing ceremony.
