THOUSANDS turned out for the annual RNLI Lifeboat Week, which ran from July 26 to August 2.
A week of events and demonstrations – ranging from a Hawaiian disco, emergency service exercises, parachute displays, to a duck derby – entertained residents and tourists alike.
The week culminated with the mayor and mayoress receiving floral tributes for their support, and RNLI crew member Elliott Herbert was awarded with the ‘Rescuer’s Trophy’.
