A holiday accommodation company in Lyme Regis and an events venue in Rockbeare have been named among the regional winners of the 2024 Muddy Stilettos awards.
The awards handed out by the online luxury lifestyle magazine recognise the best small independent businesses across the country in a range of categories. These include food and drink, fashion and beauty, arts and culture, visitor attractions and holiday activities.
The award winners are voted on by readers of the website.
This year Jurassic Properties in Lyme Regis, which rents out holiday flats and cottages, won the Best Boutique Stay award for the Dorset, Somerset and Bristol area, and Rockbeare Manor won the Best Event Venue in Devon for the second year running.
In a Facebook post the Rockbeare Manor team said: "A million thank yous to all those who voted in the @muddy_devon awards this year, we couldn’t have done it without you, and your support really does mean a lot.
"We were up against some amazing finalists in the Event Venue category so well done to them too
"Huge congrats to all of the other stand out businesses that have also scooped an award - can’t wait to see you at the winners' event."
Jurassic Properties also posted on Facebook to thank all those who voted for them. They said: "We’re thrilled and incredibly grateful for all the support we received from YOU during the voting - it means a lot and is hugely appreciated.
"A special mention also to those that support us seven days a week to help us do what we do, they aren’t on Instagram but without them we’d be non-existent."
