A35 two-vehicle collision

Firefighters from Axminster attend the scene.

Firefighters were called to the scene of a two vehicle collision on the A35 at Wilmington near Honiton.

The incident occurred yesterday (Wednesday) at 1pm and one fire appliance from Axminster was in attendance.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “All persons were free and clear of the vehicle upon the arrival of the fire service.

“Fire crews made both vehicles safe using small tools and left the incident in the hands of police.”
