Birthday surprises for Feniton woman, Marjorie Walden, who was joined by close family to mark the occasion.
It was a day full of surprises for a Feniton woman who celebrated her 90th birthday.
Marjorie Walden was joined by her close family, including her three daughters Val Frood, Jo Carnall and Janet Powell, for a surprise party on Mothering Sunday.
Mrs Walden, who owned Highfield Garage in Dunkeswell, with her husband Joe, for many years, is currently recovering at Adelaide Lodge in Honiton following a fall where she suffered a serious fracture.
Her daughter Val said: “It was a lovely surprise for my mum - she thoroughly enjoyed it and it was great to have all the family together.
“We want to say a big thank you to Adelaide Lodge for making it possible.”
Prior to the surprise party Marjorie was treated to a birthday tea at Otter Nurseries with her family on Saturday.
