A new mobile phone app has been developed to help people involved in road traffic collisions in Devon.

The PANIC App has been created in partnership with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, police, ambulance and Devon County Council as part of the Learn to Live initiative.

PANIC - which stands for protect, assess, number, injuries, call - advises the user on what to do in the event of a crash.

It also features a location finder to ensure emergency services are given an accurate location of the incident and has emergency first aid information.

The app will be promoted to students. For more information visit www.learn-2-live.org.uk
