Police in Honiton are appealing for information following a burglary from a Seaton petrol station.

The offender has been captured on CCTV at the Tower Filling Station on Seaton Down Hill between 4.15am and 4.20am on Sunday, May 14.

A man forced entry to the premises and attempted to steal items before fleeing with nothing.

Detective Constable Matt Burnell said: “The CCTV images show the suspect and include some distinctive points to note including NIKE AIR trainers and a CAT baseball cap.

“The images also appear to show the suspect has tattoos on the wrist/forearm area.

“I am keen for anyone who knows who the suspect may be to contact me.”

Anyone who has information, or has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, is asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting CR/36994/17
