Mr Honiton looks back on his life.

To many, he is Mr Honiton.

Born in Monkton Road 88 years ago, Arthur Dimond went on to be educated at one of the finest institutions in the land - Allhallows.

The Old Honitonian, after serving in the RAF and seeing action in Germany at the end of World War Two, eventually took over the running of the family firm, Honiton’s longest established business, A Dimond and Co.

Years of service to his community followed.
