Axminster Primary School pupils were given a tough assignment last week – tasting ice creams.
They got to try out a selection of flavours when they visited Seaton Tramway.
They were helping to launch a new ice cream venture being operated at the Seaton Terminus by Val and Elaine Voysey, of Furzeleigh Down Dairy, Axminster.
They will be selling a range of homemade local ice creams, in assorted flavours, from a trailer at the station during the summer and were happy to let the pupils try some out.
Later the youngsters got to learn how to drive a tram before catching the 13.20 to Colyton to enjoy a ride along the River Axe.
