Intruders flee after being confronted by home owner
Police are hunting two men who tried to burgle a house at Axminster yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
They were disturbed by the owner of the property, in Chard Road, at about 3.50pm, and fled empty handed.
The pair are described as an older man with a beard and a younger man.
They were seen leaving the area in a blue Vauxhall.
Anyone with information is asked to call Axminster police on 101 quoting crime reference number KA13/35.
