Medics called to help remove casualty after early morning accident

Firefighters and the co-responder first aid medical team were called to an accident in Axminster in the early hours of this morning (Friday July 25).

On arrival crews found that one vehicle had rolled over into a ditch in West Street.

All persons were clear and free from the vehicle, but one casualty was injured in the ditch.

Fire crews made the vehicle safe using one hose reel jet and small tools. The co-responder crews assisted paramedics in removing the casualty from the scene for treatment. The incident happened at around half past midnight.
