Village turns out in force to celebrate the wedding of popular police officer

UPLYME Parish Church was packed for the wedding of the village’s popular police officer, Amanda Jones.

The Axminster-based PCSO was wed to Stuart Wooster, an operations manager with Sinclair Collis, a subsidiary of Imperial Tobacco, on July 17.

Around 150 villagers attended the ceremony and afterwards a reception was held in a marquee in the grounds of the Talbot Arms.
