Shop staff turn ‘scarlet ladies’to promote breast cancer awareness
Staff at Trinity House department store in Axminster were in the pink on Friday– to help a very worthy cause.
They dressed in colourful outfits to support breast cancer awareness day.
The store’s spokeswoman Alison Stevens said: “We have supported ‘Wear it Pink’ for many years as we feel that it is vitally important to be aware of the symptoms of breast cancer.
“With one in eight women still being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime it’s so important that we support the Breast Cancer Campaign to raise awareness and help raise funds for their vital and lifesaving research.
“The sales advisors who work in our lingerie department are trained to assist ladies who have undergone mastectomies.”
