Police in Honiton have been successful in securing an anti-social behaviour order against an East Devon man.

Ibrahim Jabri, 21, of Sidmouth, received a two-year ASBO, which prohibits him from entering areas of Honiton, when he appeared at North and East Devon Magistrates’ Court in Exeter on January 23.

The ASBO runs until January 22, 2015, and prohibits the defendant from remaining in any shop, commercial or recreational premises if asked to leave by staff and remaining in any residential premises if asked to leave by residents or staff.

He is banned from entering Lace Walk shopping centre and other specified commercial premises and is prohibited from being in the company of Phillip Northmore or Ashley Brennan in any public place.

He must not enter or remain in specified areas of Exeter city centre for six months.

l Ashley Brennan, 19, of Millwey Avenue, Axminster, had his ASBO amended and extended to January 25, 2016, at a hearing on January 26, which prohibits him from entering specified areas of Honiton and Exeter.

Brennan, among other things, is also prohibited from entering premises including, but not limited to, WH Smiths, The Factory Shop, Boots and Lace Walk shopping centre.
