Honiton Beavers discovered more about Honiton-based charity The Baton to mark Armed Forces Day.

They were joined by the charity’s founder Alan Rowe MBE.

The Baton aims to raise awareness about the reality of life for service personnel and their families in the British Armed Forces and ensure they are given the support they need.

The Beavers previously joined residents at Abbeyfield in Honiton where they made poppy flowers from bottle tops.

They have also been busy planting a variety of real poppies, which were grown especially for Armed Forces Day.
