Vehicle’s catalytic converter catches alight

Firefighters from Honiton were called to a report of a car on fire at the side of the road at Bakers Gate, Northleigh, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, July 18).

The crew was able to confirm that the catalytic converter on the vehicle had been on fire but was out prior to their arrival, at around 2.45pm.
