Budleigh man in stable condition after ‘serious’ head injury

A Budleigh Salterton man is believed to be in a stable condition after sustaining head injuries on Friday (March 17)..

Police and paramedics were called to Budleigh at around 10.25pm after reports of a man sustaining a head injury.

Devon and Cornwall Police say the man is believed to have fallen out of a first floor window, sustaining serious injuries.

Police and paramedics from air and road ambulances attended.

South Western Ambulance Service said the man was taken by road ambulance to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment on his injuries.

Police said the man, who is thought to be in a stable condition, was then taken to Derriford Hospital.

Devon and Cornwall Police are not currently investigating this incident.
