Car overturns on Axminster to Musbury road

Fire crews called to the single vehicle accident

A car overturned on the A358 road between Axminster and Musbury this morning (Monday).

Fire fighters from Axminster and Colyton were called to the scene at around 7.45am. A fire appliance from Lyme Regis and the heavy rescue vehicle from Middlemoor, Exeter, were also mobilised, but later recalled.

Fire crews confirmed a car had left the roadway and overturned. No other vehicle was involved.

All persons were free and clear of the vehicle which the fire crews made safe before leaving the incident in the hands of police and ambulance.
