Car crash victim rescued from vehicle

Emergency services rushed to aid a woman trapped in a car after a collision at Kilmington Cross, near Axminster, on Saturday (March 1).

Fire crews confirmed that the incident involved two vehicles and one person was trapped in one of them as a result of the crash.

They worked to release the woman using hydraulic rescue equipment. Everyone else involved was already free and clear prior to arrival.

The woman was then transported to hospital and crews made the vehicles safe.
