A generous donation from Colyton and Colyford Conservatives will be helping to keep Honiton-based charity Devon Freewheelers on the road.

The chairman of the Conservatives group, Simon Card, presented a cheque for £500 to one of the charity’s volunteers, John Conway, last week.

The money was raised during a clay shooting event.

Devon Freewheelers provides an out–of-hours emergency response courier service to the NHS and transports important medical supplies such as blood to hospitals.
