Still time to sponsor a duck for the popular race.

The River Axe in Chardstock will be a sea of yellow when hundreds of rubber ducks are released on its waters.

The Great Chardstock Duck Race is returning to the village next month to raise valuable funds for charities The Project, Devon Air Ambulance, Devon Freewheelers, Chardstock Community Hall Trust and Chardstock Cricket Club.

Ducks will be released from Mill Bridge on Sunday, June 11 at midday.

They can be sponsored at Chardstock Stores and the village’s Post Office, and several ‘special’ ducks are being auctioned via Chardstock Street Fayre Facebook page.
