Animal stuck among rocks at Charmouth beach is freed by passers by

Lyme Regis Coastguard Rescue Officers were called to investigate a report of a dog which had become stuck among rocks at Charmouth beach yesterday morning (Sunday).

They were scrambled after Dorset Police received a 999 call on a faulty landline so there was little initial information.

Once on-scene, the coastguards ascertained that a dog had become stuck but had been retrieved by passers-by and was unhurt.
