The local community flocked to join in the Christmas festivities hosted by Honiton Community Church.
The church held an adults only evening on December 15 with cheese, biscuits, coffee and mince pies served up at Honiton Community College.
There was also Christmas trivia, modern drama and a specially formed choir performed Christmas songs.
The following week saw standing room only at the morning family meeting.
The children were also given the opportunity to come along in fancy dress and enjoyed a puppet show, quiz and a snowman competition.
Most stayed to enjoy a lunch of fish and chips with home made desserts, mince pies and coffee.
Church elder Norman Amey said: “Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Christ whilst enjoying our time together. We try to do things in a way which is relevant to modern culture. People obviously enjoyed the two very different services. We would like to thank the staff at Honiton Community College who have been brilliant in supporting our efforts.”
