Devon County Council to support pension campaign

Devon County Council’s cabinet is backing calls for state pension equality for women.

The authority is writing to government ministers detailing its support for the campaign.

The decision follows a lobby by women campaigning against the Government‘s changes to the state pension age, which will particularly penalise those born after 1951.
