Devon County Show: Gold award for new ice cream company

OTTER Valley Ice Cream, a new business based in Monkton, near Honiton, has scooped a gold award at the Devon County Show.

OTTER Valley Ice Cream, a new business based in Monkton, near Honiton, has scooped a gold award at the Devon County Show.

The company took the award for best fruit flavour and was placed in all three ice cream categories, beating many established ice cream makers.

Otter Valley Ice Cream has been established at Aplins Farm and uses creamy milk from its own herd .
