May we say thank you to all of those people who supported the Elvis night held in the Harbour Inn, Axmouth, in aid of the children's cancer charity CLIC. A full house was treated to an excellent night's entertainment, starting and ending with the Solid Gold Disco and included live sets from local singer Alan West and Elvis impersonator Lesley Presley, who gave a superb performance as The King. The event raised £1,500 for CLIC. A very special thanks to the Harbour for the use of the hall, Alan West for his services, Seaton Lions for their donation towards the main attraction and to everyone who gave raffle prizes and donations. Malcolm Henty On behalf of the event organisers
