Andrew Kingston raises £240 for Lyme Regis lifeboat after completing the Bath half marathon

Former police officer Andrew Kingston, who ran the Bath half marathon in aid of the RNLI, handed a £240 cheque to the crew of the Lyme Regis lifeboat today (Sunday).

Andrew, 51, from Corum Avenue, Lyme Regis, completed the 13.1 miles course in 1hour 51mins earlier this month.

“The weather was awful, but I was pleased with my time and delighted to raise a decent donation for a very good cause,” said Andrew.

He presented his cheque to lifeboat crew member Martin ‘Myrtle’ Croad who ran the London marathon last year and hopes to do so again in 2015.
