Crews from Axminster and Chard called to property in Farway

Firefighters from Axminster and Chard were mobilised after reports of a blaze in an electrical transformer at a property near Farway at around 4pm yesterday (Monday May 26).

On arrival the Axminster appliance confirmed that officials from Western Power were in attendance and that the Chard appliance was no longer required.

The fire involving the electrical transformer was out on the arrival of the crew.
