Firefighters called to Exmouth flat flood

Water flooding through a ceiling at a flat in Moreton Crescent prompted a call from Exmouth’s firefighters on Saturday.
Firefighters from Exmouth were on Saturday morning called to a home in Moreton Crescent following reports of a flood at the property.
When the fire crew arrived shortly after 11am they found water coming through the ceiling of a basement flat at the property.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Fire crews confirmed water coming through the ceiling of a basement flat from a property above.
“Fire crews gained access to the property above to deal with the water leak and left the incident in the hands of property owners.”
