Firefighters used thermal imaging equipment to help locate a dog trapped down a rabbit hole at Dalwood on Saturday.

A crew form Axminster, along with the urban search and rescue team from Exeter, was called to Danes Hill at around 2pm after a Jack Russell got stuck deep underground.

They used small tools, lines and safety at heights equipment to rescue the dog for its grateful owner.
