Detectives are investigating a break-in at Musbury Garage where a safe containing a quantity of cash and keys was stolen.

The burglary occurred at 12.30am on Wednesday, January 9, when three people forced open the doors to the premises and stole the safe. The suspects, who were wearing balaclavas, then drove off with the safe in what is thought to be a dark coloured Peugeot type saloon car.

A police spokesman said that locks have been changed and security has been enhanced at the site since the theft occurred.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting crime reference KA13/16/16.
