THERE will be plenty of booing and hissing at All Saints this week when the village pantomime society presents Little Red Riding Hood and Mister Wolfe.

Once again, Jo Ellis has written an original script based around the well-known story.

Most of the usual characters are included plus a few unusual ones!

Zoe Ellis takes the role of Little Red Riding Hood with Michael Shaw and Caroline Nunns playing her parents, Jack and Jennifer Spratt.

Mick Crook takes on the role of the nasty Mister Wolfe with Christine Galvin as Grandma, his unfortunate victim.

An assortment of nursery rhyme characters also make an appearance along with bossy Mary Contrary and her hen-pecked husband Henry – played by Gay Atkinson and Clive Bareham respectively.

Tina Mackenny provides the music for some well known songs and, this year, the show is directed by Steve Holt.

The show will be performed at All Saints and District Village Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 2, 3 and 4, at 7.45pm.

Tickets are available from Anthea on 01460 221088 or e-mail: the barehams@beaconcot.co.uk

Prices are adults £5 and children £2.50 (Thursday and Friday) with all tickets £5 on Saturday.
