Primary school pupils from across the Axe Valley attended classes in a variety of colourful costumes last week.

The children dressed as some of their favourite fictional characters - from Harry Potter to Cinderella - to celebrate World Book Day.

Axminster and Seaton primary schools were amongst those taking part in the fun event.
