Winners Felicity Brichieri Colombi, Shirley Hitch, Sally Boom, Maureen Stone, Kenneth Appleton and Helen Wakefield had work on display in the exhibition, and were chosen by local artist Phil Creek.

The winners of Honiton Art Society’s latest exhibition have been presented with their awards.

Thelma Woodward, of Honiton Art Society, said: “Phil presented the awards at the private view of the exhibition, saying what it was about the pictures that had influenced his decisions.

“The chairman’s choice this year was a watercolour by Sally Boom, called ‘Beetroot’. Two winners were not present for the photo - Ian Frost and Claudia Napier.
