A Honiton business has celebrated its 20th birthday by holding a lavish lunch at a luxury hotel.

Excess inventory management company CCL, based in Heathpark Industrial Estate, enjoyed the spread at Pig at Combe.

The firm’s managing director, Adam Chinery, said: “To have a successful business running for twenty years in this climate is a great achievement and one that we wanted to celebrate with everyone involved in the company, including families.

“Twenty years is a long time, and a lot can happen in that time both professionally and privately.

“We have had marriages, children, and new staff that weren’t even alive when the company was formed.

“It’s been a busy 20 years, we’ve endured tough times, and enjoyed good times, but I’ve enjoyed every day of it.”

The company also celebrated 20 years by refreshing its logo and has just returned from exhibiting at an electronics show in New Delhi, India.
