A Honiton road is set to be closed for more than 30 days while roadworks take place next month.

Wales and West Utilities will be looking to seal off Rosemount Lane from Monday, October 22 to Friday, November 23.

An alternative signed route will be set up for vehicles via Sidmouth Road, Battishorne Way, Weatherill Road, Lower Brand Lane and Littletown Road.

Wales and West say the road closure is necessary for its workers to replace 55 metres of sixinch cast iron with PolyEthylene and services up to the junction with Sidmouth Road.

The temporary restriction order has been enforced by Devon County Council.

For more information, residents can contact Wales and West on 0800 912 2999.
