More than forty tractors took part in the sixth annual Honiton Tractor Trundle and raised £650 for local charity Devon Freewheelers.
Participants gathered at Nags Head Farm for bacon butties and the trundle followed a route via Gittisham, Ottery St Mary, East Hill, Tipton and West Hill, stopping at Marsh Green for lunch. Returning via Rockbeare, Talaton, Feniton and Buckerell.
On part of the route the tractors enjoyed an escort provided by the Devon Freewheelers’ motorbikes, the chosen charity for this year.
Edward Underdown, the organiser of the event, said “We are delighted to have raised vital funds for Devon Freewheelers by having such a great day. It was fantastic to have support from so many people. The trundle raised £650, and we thank everyone who helped to make it a success.”
