An initiative to bring learning into the 21st century at Honiton Primary School has received a welcome boost after the purchase of a new iPad.
The school raised money to purchase its latest tablet computer through the Rotary Club’s South East Devon community raffle scheme.
Jim Cobley and Mike Huxtable of the Rotary Club of the Otter Valley presented children with their new iPad last week.
Honiton Primary School is aiming to get four iPads into every classroom and has been getting local businesses to sponsor the purchase of the tablets.
The community raffle has been organised by Rotary Clubs including Ottery Valley and Axminster Rotary Clubs.
