Ice warning to drivers

Large patches of ice have been reported on East Devon roads this morning, and motorists are being urged to take care.
One icy area is on the B3180 across Woodbury Common, by the junction with Sanctuary Lane, where around 100 yards of ice is covering the whole carriageway.
Drivers are being warned to never assume a road has been salted, leave additional time for their journey and reduce their speed, and drive with care in accordance with the treacherous conditions.
