Olympian Jo Pavey speaks about her time as a Brownie.
1st Feniton Brownies were joined by an inspirational visitor – four-time Olympian Jo Pavey.
Jo represented Great Britain in every Olympics from 2000 to 2012 and was a Commonwealth games runner.
She spoke about her time as a brownie, back when they had to wear a brown dress and woolly hat, and how she went on to become a guide.
The Brownies were also able to see her medals as well as a photograph of Jo when she was a brownie in Feniton.
Jo also took part in a craft activity session with the group.
A spokeswoman for 1st Feniton Brownies said: “Having Jo visit us was great as we are continually looking for role models who inspire us and she certainly had the girls very interested in what she has achieved.”
