Keen swimmer Jamie Dyer is to do his bit to raise money to boost funding for new equipment at Honiton Swimming Pool.
A keen swimmer from Honiton who captured the hearts of the town to raise money for a specialist hoist and changing bench at the swimming pool is set to make a splash once again.
Jamie Dyer is to take part in a sponsored swim on Tuesday, April 9, at 12.30pm, to boost funds for the specialist equipment at Honiton Swimming Pool.
Even though the money has now been raised, the nine-year-old, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was still keen to do his bit.
The appeal for the new equipment for Jamie was launched by the Midweek Herald last October.
The money left over will be set aside for any further equipment needed in the future.
A sponsorship form is available on the noticeboard at Costa Coffee in High Street.
Alternatively, donations can be brought to the swimming pool on the day of the sponsored swim.
Jamie has thanked everyone for their continued support.
