Pre-school youngsters get to meet some giant bugs, including a Madagascan hissing cockroach
Children from Uplyme Pre-school got to meet some jungle critters when animal experts form Axe Valley Wildlife Park visited them at the village hall.
Education officers Marie Pulman and her assistant took along a giant African millipede, a Madagascan hissing cockroach, a Chilean rose bird-eating spider, a royal python and a herman tortoise.
The children were thrilled with the opportunity to get up close to these creatures and hold them.
