A spate of thefts from cars has prompted Exmouth police to warn residents to keep their valuables safe.
On Monday, January 16, there were a number of thefts from cars in Exmouth town centre between 4pm and 6pm.
They have warned motorists not to leave mobile phones, lap tops, credit/debit cards, cheque books, cash, vehicle registration documents and private mail, especially with your address on it in cars.
Police Community Support Officer Karen Capey said: “Remember to keep all your valuables and possessions safe.
“Don’t leave anything on display in your car and take all your belongings with you when you leave the car.”
If you wish to receive any further information/literature in relation to keeping your car safe please contact PCSO Karen Capey at Exmouth police station telephone 101 or e-mail Karen.capey@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk
