Crews from Honiton, Middlemoor and Sidmouth called to the scene.

A kitchen was badly damaged by smoke following a fire in Feniton.

Fire crews from Honiton, Middlemoor and Sidmouth attended the incident in Ely Close on Sunday at around 2pm.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon arrival crews confirmed there was a small fire in the kitchen. Crews got to work using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, together with positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.

“The kitchen received 100 per cent damage by smoke and five per cent damage by fire. The cause of the fire was accidental.”
